From first-time swimmers to Champs All-Time Records, the 2026 Belterra Marlins showed what makes this team special: commitment, sportsmanship, community, and fun.

The Belterra Marlins is a competitive yet fun summer swim team, part of the Capital City Summer League, offering an exciting 9-week season from late April to the end of June.

Our team is open to Belterra families and non-Belterra residents (space permitting) with swimmers ages 5-18, and we focus on skill development, sportsmanship, teamwork, and—most importantly—having fun in the water! Our dedicated coaching staff emphasizes proper stroke techniques, essential swimming skills like dives and turns, and endurance building in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Key Information for the 2026 Season

• Belterra Resident Registration: Opens March 5, 2026—secure your spot early!
• Non-Belterra Residents: Registration opens March 19, 2026 (only if space remains, includes non-resident fee)
• Registration with personalized swim cap closes: March 30, 2026
• General registration (no personalized cap) will remain open until we reach full capacity
• Swim Suit Fitting: April 8, 2026
• New Swimmer Evaluations: April 14, 2026 (sign up here)
• ALL Parent Kickoff Meeting: April 14, 2026 6:30-7:30pm
• Junior Coach Training: April 14, 2026 7:30-8:30pm (apply here)
• Stroke & Turn Training (1 parent per family required to attend): April 19, 2026
• Practice Schedule: Divided into two phases:
  • In-School Practices: April 20 – May 21

The Belterra Marlins is entirely volunteer-run. There is no paid staff running our meets — they happen because families step in to help.

Each meet requires significant volunteer support, and we rely on consistent participation from all families to ensure smooth operations. Watch for volunteer sign-ups throughout the season and plan to contribute your time.
